What you can do with NetSight
Subscriber access is only part of an ISP network. NetSight brings supported MikroTik and CCR equipment into the operational environment used for OLTs and ONUs. Operators can inspect router health, interface status, and traffic history when investigating a problem extending beyond one subscriber or PON port. This provides access-to-core context without requiring a separate inventory for each layer.
Router inventory
Manage monitored routers and review device information and status returned by the adapter.
Interface visibility
Inspect interfaces, search their names, and distinguish operational states during troubleshooting.
Traffic history
Review sampled traffic for individual interfaces and aggregate router traffic.
Access-to-core context
Investigate routers alongside OLT, ONU, and RADIUS information.
A connected workflow
- 01Add a supported router with reachable management access.
- 02Review health and select the relevant interface.
- 03Compare traffic and status with the affected access network.
Compatibility & setup
Requires RouterOS management access, appropriate credentials, and adapter support. Historical traffic appears after polling has collected samples.
Common questions
Can NetSight show MikroTik interface traffic?
Yes. The router workspace includes interface and aggregate traffic views for monitored routers with supported telemetry.
Is router monitoring the same as RADIUS?
No. Router monitoring observes equipment and interfaces. RADIUS manages subscriber authentication and sessions. NetSight provides separate tools for both.
