About NetSight
What is NetSight?
NetSight is an FTTH monitoring and ISP operations platform for ISPs, MSOs, and LCOs. It combines OLT/ONU monitoring, topology, fiber maps, optical analytics, MikroTik monitoring, TR-069, RADIUS, billing, customer self-service, alerts, tickets, field attendance, and IVR tools.
How is NetSight priced?
Monitoring costs INR 500 per OLT per month for up to two OLTs, or INR 350 per OLT per month for three or more OLTs. These prices exclude RADIUS. Contact NetSight to confirm compatibility and integration requirements.
Are public diagrams and readings live customer data?
No. Public diagrams and product previews use illustrative equipment and sample data. Your configured network and subscriber records are available in the relevant authenticated workspace.
Does every account have every feature?
Availability depends on platform, organization, and role settings. Device operations require hardware support. Payments, messaging, maps, ACS, and telephony require their respective integrations.
Which OLT brands does NetSight support?
NetSight has dedicated adapters for VSOL EPON, Syrotech GPON and VSOL-based Syrotech EPON, Huawei SmartAX MA56xx/MA58xx GPON, Richerlink EPON, and TP-Link DeltaStream GPON OLTs. ZTE, C-Data, BDCOM, and other OLT brands do not currently have a dedicated NetSight adapter. Share your model, firmware, and a CLI output sample to discuss support.
Is NetSight built for ISPs and cable operators in India?
Yes. NetSight is developed for Indian ISPs, MSOs, and LCOs. It supports the MSO-to-LCO hierarchy, rupee pricing, OLT brands common in India, BSNL Bharat Fibre third-party OLTs, Razorpay and Bharat Connect (BBPS) payments, GSTIN records, WhatsApp messaging, and an Android app for field teams.
Can NetSight monitor OLTs on BSNL Bharat Fibre?
Yes. OLTs managed as third-party OLTs on BSNL's network can be monitored when their management IP is reachable through the BSNL management connection, typically routed and port-forwarded by your MikroTik CCR.
Do I need to install a server to use NetSight?
NetSight is a hosted web application, so no polling server is installed at your site. Each OLT's management interface must be reachable from NetSight, usually through a MikroTik router port-forward restricted to NetSight's IP address. OLTs on BSNL's Bharat Fibre network that are managed as third-party OLTs can be reached the same way through the BSNL management connection.
How much does OLT monitoring software cost with NetSight?
INR 500 per OLT per month for one or two OLTs, or INR 350 per OLT per month for three or more OLTs. These prices exclude RADIUS, which is discussed separately.
Does NetSight have a mobile app?
Yes. The NetSight Android app supports field attendance and network operations for staff, and subscriber self-service for customers. It is downloaded from NetSight as an APK.
How is NetSight different from a general-purpose network monitoring tool?
General-purpose monitoring tools focus on device metrics and usually need custom work to understand OLT and ONU data. NetSight reads ONU-level status, offline reasons, and optical power from supported OLTs and connects them to subscribers, fibre topology, RADIUS, billing, tickets, and field teams in one ISP workspace.
Can an LCO earn credits by referring another LCO?
Yes. A referring LCO earns credit worth 10% of the referred LCO's paid OLT charges for its first 6 paid months, applied to the referrer's bill up to 50% of that bill. Credits cannot be withdrawn as cash.
OLT & ONU monitoring
Which OLT equipment can I monitor?
NetSight supports multiple OLT vendors. Confirm your exact model, firmware, and required operations during onboarding; support is not identical across all equipment.
Can I move from an OLT to its subscriber ONUs?
Yes. OLT, PON-port, ONU-fleet, and topology views help operators investigate a connection at different levels of the network.
Topology graph & fiber maps
Does NetSight have a topology graph, not just a tree?
Yes. The operational topology page opens in graph mode and also offers a tree. The graph supports searching, branch collapse, root filtering, path highlighting, and optical overlays.
Is the public 3D topology my live network?
No. It uses sample devices and readings. Sign in to the operational portal to view your configured network in graph or tree form.
RX power, uptime & reports
Does optical history guarantee failure prediction?
No. Historical readings help identify changes and investigate degradation. They do not guarantee that a failure can be predicted or prevented.
Can I review daily uptime and device transitions?
Yes. The SLA workspace includes daily availability and status transitions after monitoring has collected data.
MikroTik & CCR routers
Can NetSight show MikroTik interface traffic?
Yes. The router workspace includes interface and aggregate traffic views for monitored routers with supported telemetry.
Is router monitoring the same as RADIUS?
No. Router monitoring observes equipment and interfaces. RADIUS manages subscriber authentication and sessions. NetSight provides separate tools for both.
TR-069 remote management
Does TR-069 management work on every ONU?
No. The equipment must support the required TR-069 functions and be configured for the ACS.
Can operators reboot devices remotely?
Yes, for supported and reachable ACS-managed equipment. NetSight provides confirmation before sending a reboot request.
RADIUS & PPPoE
Is RADIUS included in the advertised OLT price?
No. The INR 500 and INR 350 per-OLT monthly monitoring prices explicitly exclude RADIUS. Discuss its setup and terms separately.
Can NetSight manage IP pools and NAS devices?
Yes. Its RADIUS tools include NAS devices, IP pools, profiles, users, sessions, and authentication logs.
Billing & customer self-service
Do subscribers use the operator login?
No. Operators use email/password. Subscribers use the separate customer login with their registered mobile number and password.
Can I control which features customers see?
Yes. The portal uses an operator-controlled feature list, including billing, tickets, usage, and supported device functions.
Alerts, tickets & IVR
Does NetSight include an IVR workspace?
Yes. The telephony workspace includes inbound IVR flows, priority staff routing, agent status, call logs, and configurable recording.
Are notifications available without setup?
No. Configure providers, destinations, credentials, and rules for each notification workflow.
MSO, LCO & field teams
Can an MSO manage multiple LCOs?
Yes. The MSO workspace includes LCO and organization management with separate access and feature controls.
Does the product include field attendance?
Yes. NetSight includes attendance reports, monthly summaries, configured zones, and reported location views with supported mobile workflows.
